Between May and December 2017 I had the opportunity to follow the build of the replica of a traditional 68 foot wooden sailing boat originally built in 1853. The Replica of the Falmouth Pilot Cutter "Vincent"  will be called "Pellew" and is the project of a Community Interest Company which aims to keep the traditional maritime heritage alive by training young people in the skills of wooden shipbuilding. The boat will be launched in spring 2019 and the yard will then go on to build other historically significant vessels.
I filmed and photographed the progress of the build on my Panasonic GH4 and am currently in the process of editing the footage into a short documentary. Editing and grading is done in Davinci Resolve.
For now I have completed a teaser and a 5 minute film explaining the goals of the company for the project's Facebook page, each of which have generated over 60'000 views.

I also provided an additional sequence and some photography for the web page.
